The Tstat7 is a legacy product and unfortunately the fellow behind the firmware is not around any longer. We can support the existing features but barely.
The home and work settings were one of the last features he was working on. The idea as you can guess allows for setpoints in a typical home application.
The dual/single setpoints allows to you manage a separate heating and cooling setpoint versus a single ‘setpoint’ with built in deadbands. The single setpoint being easier for the user to understand and manage from the keypad.
The option to change to single setpoint may be buried somewhere else in the UI, could you please check around in the PID section for example.
Lijun will read this thread and chime in soon as well.
We have a new fully programmable version of the Tstat7 in the works which should be sampling in the next couple of months. Do have a look at the Tstat10 for a preview of the features it will have.
This is indeed an old device as Maurice said. This option cannot be changed here, it is a bug.
You can change it in the following location:
Hi Lijun, so how do I know the current setpoint under “home” or “work” mode?
Lijun will report back soon, but basically its in there in the user interface somewhere. Check around in the schedules and setpoints. Pretty sure there is a radio dialog to select how many mode of operation.
Hi Lijun, any update on the enquiry? “how do I know the current setpoint under “home” or “work” mode?”
Hi Lijun, I navigate the “Setpoint Details”
Start with a simpler system like just the occupied and unoccupied modes active. Get the schedule and setpoints behaving as expected and once that is going you can add more modes like work and sleep schedules. This feature was added late in the game before the developer behind it left our firm, I cannot vouch that all features and the UI is working well. Sorry I am not able to help debug more, Lijun will chime in soon as well.
