Remote Access

I have a site with 5 T3-TB controllers all connected with CAT5 on the same network. I setup a “Remote Device” in T3000 and did some port forwarding in the router to get access to the site. I forwarded ports TCP 502, UDP 47808 and UDP 1234. I can connect to the site remotely but I only see the first controller. The others never come up. What am I doing wrong? I left the 502 port the sae in each controller.

It seems that the issue you’re experiencing could be related to the port configuration. Since all your T3-TB controllers are using the same port (TCP 502), the router is likely only able to forward traffic to the first controller, and the others are not being properly accessed.

you can try to leave the first controller on TCP 502, then set the second controller to TCP 503, the third one to TCP 504, and so on. Afterward, make sure your router forwards the appropriate external ports to each controller’s internal IP and port.

This would be a good time to get to that BBMD feature which is long overdue. One of the T3 controllers works in gateway mode to pass on traffic for the rest of the system. Lijun will work on this PRONTO.

The other workaround for now is to set up a PC on site running Softether, then you can log into the remote network as if you were on site.
