LED of IN1 stay off even if there is a sensor connected to it as you can see
If I reboot the device, the LED IN1 does light up during the boot sequence so the LED is not physically broken.

You have all the inputs toggled to manual mode, set them to auto and they should work as expected. In1 is showing -16C which may mean a wiring problem if it stays there after you set them back to auto.
Ok will try auto mode, but IN2 to IN6 LED are light even in manual mode.
-16 is good, it’s even a nice day, was -26C yesterday. So the sensor is good
TEMP EXTERIOR, missed that. I reallly did give all my high school French back to my teacher as they say.
The leds are ‘kind of’ analog when set to a temperature sensor range, there are 8 levels of brightness simulated by a PWM signal from the CPU which the eye will not perceive linearly. A temp sensor at a really low temperature will not give off much light.
Try swapping IN1 and IN2, my guess is the dark LED will follow the outside temperature.
Yes it’s the value been low that make the LED go “dark”.
