Getting started with the Air Flow Transducer

Getting Started

First power up the transducer using a 15 to 24V supply, you can use either AC or DC. Next connec the RS485 network to the PC with an RS485 to USB converter. Connect just one device for now.

Pay attention to the polarity of the RS485 cabling, its OK to connect the A and B line in reverse, there will be no hardware damage but the device will not be able to communicate. It helps to have an RS485 converter with LEDS during troubleshooting.
