My T3000 is a July 2018 version. When I click on the update button, it downloads but the new version doesn’t install. Do I need to uninstall to get the right version? Is it a security thing? I don’t have that problem on other Win10 PC’s with T3000 loaded on them.

I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue here, could be a security thing all right. Fandu, the developer here behind T3000, suggests you can download the entire install package from here:

Re-install over top of the old version, no need to uninstall first. All your data and work files will remain intact.
