Its difficult to say what is going on from your description but in general, if you are having trouble updating T3000 you can always download the fairly recent version here:
https://temcocontrols.com/ftp/software/09T3000Software.zip
Once you have that downloaded, unzipped and installed you can run it and head to T3000 → help → check for updates to get the latest & greatest T3000.exe.
Once you have that running you connect and try scanning for devices. If you cannot connect then you can search this forum for ‘can’t connect’ and you’ll get many tips. In general its:
Connect over Ethernet if possible
Shut down other software that might be using the bacnet or modbus ports, including niagara whcih I have seen running as a service.
Temporarily disable virtual adapters, wifi, vpns and such. Use just the one and only wired ethernet adapter for scans.
If you have tried upating and perhaps only got part way thgouh the update, cycle power and try updating with the T3000 → update a single device, its called ISPTool and its a little simpler than the usual T3000 iunterface. Cycle power to the device and try the update in the first few seconds after power is coming on. The LED or backlight if it has one will be blinking with two blips, repeating every second or so. This is the time to do the firmware update. Search this forum for keyword ‘unbrick’ for more details.
i did reinstall the software again and each time it would not open anymore. Then when i open it, it was ok until i updated it then it would give me same thing and would not open. The application was not able to start correctly (0xc0000005) can you please help thanks
Hard to say from teh description what might be going on. Send on a few screen shots or reach out to us by email and we can coordinate a session over anydesk or teams.

I don’t know if I understand it right, it sounds like you have installed T3000 software in Windows 10 system, want to make graphic work, so later I suggested you read this post on how to get started with graphics:
Hello All,
Sounds like I am encountering the similar issue on running this software. I was able to run it when I installed it but today it was crashing. So I reinstalled it fresh with a build version on 1/21/2025. However it is crashing too. Here are the windows logs from event viewer

Any tips or clues will be highly appreciated

Fandu will have a look at your log tomorrow.
In the mean time you could give it a try running on another machine.
If the software runs for a bit you could try doing an update, use T3000 → help → check for updates.
Standing by to help.
Hi Maurice,
Thank you for the suggestions. I tried also in OS 10 pro and I got the same issue. So may be the build process to blame here. The visual behavior is that looks application comes up and then disappear suddenly. Not sure it is a dependency (library) issue
You are building the application itself? If so have a look at how the T3000 is built directly on github with github actions. Fandu can explain the build process better.
