Bacnet object name

Hi,
T3 controllers form BACnet object name from point label. Problem is label can be only 8 simbols long. I think this is not BACnet limitation. Is there a way to make object name longer?

Chelsea will switch to using the 20char description. Spaces will be replaced with ‘_’ chars.
