When choose inputs/outputs and try to open dialogue box where you can change format (digital, analog, type of sensor and etc) in that moment T3000 program is freezed and i have “not responding” microsoft windows message , It lasts about 5-8 seconds, after that dialogue box opened and T3000 continue work.
When open Graphic editor, and try to move, add icon it’s freezed like in the first point, but there strange is that T3000 is “not responding”, but animation in Graphics still going.
When open T3 controller configuration menu.
This doesn’t happen every time, but about 5-8 times during 5 minutes of running the program.
I found the problem, it’s not the T3000 software, it’s T3 controller (I have T3-BB). Every 5-6 minutes Ethernet connection is falling down for a 8 seconds, then connection recovery (I connect T3 directly to PC). When connection fall down T3000 program is freeze, i think because T3000 always read T3 controller, and when happen trouble with Ethernet connection T3000 trying to connect T3 controller, but happen program freeze.
I install last firmware for T3 controller, but it doesnt help. I found old topic about trouble in connection via Ethernet, but there only help one advice: always send icmp packet by ping.
When i ping T3 controller i dont have any problem with connection. But t’s not very convenient to ping T3 controler everytime, and we have project where 3 T3 controllers have connection via Modbus TCP/BacNET without PC and this means there will be no ping.
Do you have idea how to fix Ethernet Connection?
It seems that there is an issue somewhere between your local area network (LAN) and the device communication. Could you please use Wireshark to save all the network packet capture data and upload it to me for analysis?
We also hope you can provide more screenshots, such as those of the firmware software version, hardware version, and the T3000 in use. We have also encountered situations where, when there is a third-party BBMD device in the network, the BBMD device will intercept BACnet communication data packets, resulting in failure of communication between T3000 and T3 controllers.
Thanks!
We can get it on the bench and check it over, repairs are free for as long as you care to maintain the system. We will cover the shipping both ways if it proves to be a factory defect as you say.
