Troubles connecting to the T3-BB

The T3-BB-Wifi only stays connected / communicates ~ 5% of the time… It “Disconnects” ~ 95% of the time. It connects intermittently between 45% to 75% “Health” which often quickly decreases then disconnects and rarely connects / is discovered over Ethernet… which is similar to the descriptions by @mgrichen

The other BACnet IP / Modbus IP (T3-Nano & T3-8o), BACnet MSTP / Modbus RTU (Tstat8’s, HUM-N-LCD) Devices stay connected 100% of the time, at the stated “Health” %'s.

@maurice ,
Just as a follow up…

The problem is definitely in the T3-BB-Wifi, which is now permanently stuck n the “ISP Mode” when powered on and cannot be unstuck due to the Ethernet and RS485 lack of communications. The download of firmware (from 49.6 to 49.9) to the T3-BB-Wifi stopped at 1KB and timed out, probably due to the Comms issues previously noted.

Downloaded firmware to the T3-Nano and T3-8o with the same ISP Tool over the same Ethernet switch / hub and patch cables with no issues, a surprisingly fast procedure. Which should eliminate the notebook network setting as an issue.

The T3-BB-Wifi can be revived by following the procedure described in ‘unbricking a bricked device’ on this forum. Basically you cycle power and manually flash new firmware over Ethernet or RS485 in the first few seconds after power up using the ‘ISPTool’ which is available under T3000 → tools → Flash one device. If you cannot revive it with this procedure then we would have to get it back for a look over. Repairs are free.
