I have a supposedly new device that does not report on scan for Ethernet but when I connect RS-485 it is discovered but the Name displays as"T3_32AI
ðû@òÊQ" and S/N 244081. When I try to display the Inputs, the T3000 response is “Device does not have in Input Grid Display”. I also have a T3-22i that works fine on both Ethernet and MODBUS with T3000. Is there a factory reset or firmware replacement I can do? Thank you for your support.
Since you can connect to T3000 via RS485, you can check the IP settings to see if there is any IP conflict, or confirm if it is automatically obtained. The code of T3-32AI is the same as that of T3-22I, except for the number of inputs.
Thank you, Chelsea. This is what I see with Discovery and I’ll get a snap of the Local View of this device too. I also get a “Device doesn’t have a Configuration Display” Dialogue box. I also get “Divice doesn’t have an input grid display” when I try to see input config. Unexpected indeed
The firmware shown in your screenshot is the outdated T3-32AI. Product number 53 represents our new T3-32AI-ARM. We haven’t yet incorporated it into the FTP’s automatic update system. We will complete the process as soon as possible. There is a new ARM version of the firmware included in the attachment. T3_32AI_REV68.hex (330.5 KB)
Thank you, Chelsea. I loaded the FW without issue but it still looks the same and does not display inputs nor is there any Ethernet detection. This is a new device (S/N: 244081) and I’m trying to configure it for a new project. Should I pursue an RMA for replacement? Please advise and I do appreciate your responses and help!
I forgot to add this observation of the Local View. It leads me to believe this has a corrupted configuration that cannot be corrected by the FW refresh I accomplished. Thoughts?
I’m at a hard stop as the updated T3000 software is not running on either of my PC’s. I was using my work laptop originally and the program seemed fine, until after applying the update. I run as Administrator, and it starts to build the main screen and disappears after 2-3 seconds. I then loaded T3000 on my personal desktop and get the same behavior. I’ve uploaded the System parameters for each computer. I could find nothing to help in the T3000 Software forum. Please advise on my next step. Parrish PC Details 080525.txt (1.0 KB)
I’m going to have to give up on this. Either a Windows recent update or something within the T3000 software will no longer work on my personal or work PC. I do like your products but can’t rely on it for my current project.
Well that doesn’t sound good. We put a lot of effort into making our products, we stand behind them 100 percent. We need to get to the bottom of thus and we won’t let up till we find the root cause.
If you’re still willing we will do some troubleshooting with you via remote assistance.
It will help to know a few basic things before we get started.
So you are saying that the software was working well before but a recent update appears to have made it unstable.
If you haven’t tried on another pc already that would be a good test.
If you are able to repeat the issue reliably let us know the steps.
We’re here to help. Send an email and we’ll coordinate with you for remote assistance.
After you uninstall the entire T3000 software, delete any residual T3000 files, and then reinstall it. https://temcocontrols.com/ftp/software/09T3000Software.zip
Once the installation is complete, use the “Help” menu to select “Check for Update” to update to the latest version. If you still encounter issues after following these steps in order, please send an email to me, I can set up a remote support. Anydesk or Rustdesk are good options for this.
