Can/How to configure the T3-OEM to pass MODBUS Polling request on the WiFi Connection to the onboard RS485 port in order to communicate to other slave devices connected on the RS485 port?
Sorry, the T3-OEM is set up to just respond to wifi IP traffic to itself, no routing capabilies to the RS485 subnets.
You could have a look at the T3-Nano, it can operate well as a router from IP to RS485 subnet and back. It doesn’t have a wifi by default now.
UPDATE: The T3-OEM doesn’t yet have a wifi option, we’ve added that to the todo list.
The T3-Nano does have the wifi built in now.

just recieved t3 nano wifi enabled- no antennae ?
This model uses an internal WiFi antenna, so there is no external antenna included.
ok is there ANY way to externally discern this revision from earlier ones?
We recently added the wifi option as ‘free’ as part of the upgrade with the new ESP32 CPU. The antenna is a small one right on the CPU module itself.
We’ll have to add an option for an external antenna, we’ll add it to the website today.
