See down at Tab1, the communications health shows no communications, no devices discovered. I assume you already hit the scan button up at Tab2. The message at Tab3 lets you know that the device you are connected to, no device in this case, doest have a configuration menu. The tree at Tab4 will populate with devices as they are discovered.
I’ll make a note to make this message more clear, we should say ‘No device connected, hit the magnifying glass icon to search for devices’
There’s many examples of troubleshooting this scenario. I usually suggest temporarily diabling the wifi, vpn, and viual adapters if any. Search on these terms and you should find the full discussion with screen shots.
Hi Maurice,
I wanted to follow up regarding the T3000 connection issue. I scanned and verified the COM port (COM4), and I was able to see and read all AI and output points in YABE over BACnet MSTP at 38400 baud.
In T3000, the same device (DEV101002) appears in red with Health 0%, and no points populate after scanning. The status at the bottom shows “Trying to connect to 20494.”
I saw your note about disabling Wi-Fi, VPN, and virtual adapters. Do you have any additional suggestions or configuration steps you recommend trying along with that?
Thank you for your help.
