SD Card crash

When i insert a SD card and power-up the TB-T3-W it crash. The micro SD card is 32gb. Any idea why? It work just fine without SD card.

We have tested 32GB SD cards and found no anomalies. The SD card can be recognized normally, and trend logs work correctly. Could you elaborate on what exactly you mean by the crash? Alternatively, you may try formatting the SD card first.

When I say it “crashes,” I mean the controller starts up, the red “beat” LED flashes 34 times, and then it reboots. The red LED flashes 34 times again, it reboots, and so on. I formatted the 32GB microSD card before inserting it into the controller; now it doesn’t work anymore—the controller destroyed it. My computeur dont see it anymore. The same thing happened with a 4GB card; the controller destroyed both of them. Just to be absolutely sure: there is only one slot where I can insert this card, right? I just received this controller, and I think it’s defective.

Could you confirm what firmware version you have there. Its always best to update to the latest, which you can do from T3000 → help → check for updates. While you’re at it you can update T3000 itself in the same dialog.

I cannot imagine what may be going on there, Chelsea will perhaps have some ideas for you to try.

This issue has nothing to do with firmware. The SD codebase has remained unchanged for years. From what you’ve described, it looks like a hardware issue on the SD card circuit.
