Does T3 controller have OPC UA Server on board?

I need to connect T3 controller to SCADA system. So, do i need to use external OPC UA server or T3 controller has internal OPC UA server?

This is definitely the direction we’ve been heading. The team has been adding a feature within T3000 to log the entire system to the hard disk in the background. This will log all inputs, outputs and variables in the system on ALL the controllers in the building to the local hard disk. The next logical step will be do to as you mentioned, send the data out as an OPC server. You can count on seeing this in the next month or two, we’re focused on this these days.

Note: This will run on a win11 PC in the building, not directly on the T3 controllers. A raspberry Pi would be a good candidate platform to run the OPC server when it becomes availabe, here’s a link on how to set that up:

Nice. I’ll be waiting. :+1:

Do you plan to integrate these functions into the next batches of the T3 controller in the future or sell them as separate modules?

The resources on the T3 controllers are slowly filling up. Major functions like this will need a lot more rom & ram so yes, they will need new hardware. The Pi or any low end PC will do. We have a din rail ‘T3’ type Pi that could handle the task, more on that as the features start rolling out.
