I did a quick example of how to set up email alarms over here:

Email alarms are working (again). Here are some steps to getting set up: Set up a free account at smtp2go.com, they support non SSL email forwarding and you get 1000 emails per month on the free tier, certainly good enough for several buildings. The user name will be T3BB@temcocontrols.com in this example, it doesnt need to be an actual email address, this is just used for logging in to SMTP2go.
